The debut solo album from Doug Wimbish, originally released in 1999. Trippy Notes For Bass is an atmospheric, almost spiritual LP and On-U fans will know Wimbish for his signature bass playing for fellow labelmates Tackhead and Strange Parcels, not to mention his stint in the legendary Sugar Hill Gang, playing on hip-hop classics such as “The Message” and “White Lines”.
