2 Badcard is a collaborative project between Adrian Sherwood and keyboard player Carlton "Bubblers" Ogilvie (whose credits include stints with Mykal Rose, Aswad, Bushman, and Dub Syndicate), and their pairing that dates back to the 1970’s.

Hustling Ability is slow, dark, modern roots reggae and the late, great Prince Far I makes a cameo appearance on “Chatty People”. The tempo picks up toward the end of the album with “Mentally Ska'd”, a nice tribute to old-school ska that includes a clever pun on the classic “Guns of Navarrone” track. Also features the single “Leaving Rome” and the legendary Dennis Alcapone makes a guest appearance on “Pure Illusion”.
